Ran focuses on early to late stage venture investments in Israel across a wide range of sectors at NVP. Before joining NVP, Ran was a senior analyst in the M&A division at Amdocs. Prior to Amdocs, Ran was an associate at Pamplona Capital, an emerging markets hedge fund, where he evaluated investment opportunities and conducted detailed macro research analysis on global economies.
Prior to Pamplona Capital, Ran was an analyst in the Investment Banking Division of Citigroup in Israel, where he worked on mergers and acquisitions, IPOs and strategic advisory assignments for a variety of notable companies and transactions including M-Systems’ $1.3 billion acquisition by Sandisk and Cellcom’s $400 million IPO.
Before joining Citigroup, Ran worked at Ernst & Young Israel, where he was a senior consultant in the Corporate Finance consulting division. Ran also previously served as business development manager for Hybrid Services, an environmental start-up engineering company based in Los Angeles, California.
Ran holds a bachelor of arts degree in economics and business administration, and a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania.
