Sanjay focuses on early to late stage venture investments across a wide range of sectors at NVP, with an emphasis on consumer Internet and mobile. Earlier, Sanjay worked at McKinsey & Company, where he focused on strategy, pricing, and sales and marketing initiatives for high technology and financial services companies in New York, Boston and Silicon Valley. Sanjay worked with executive management at Fortune 500 companies to identify emerging market opportunities, define strategic relationships with partners, develop go-to-market and new product launch strategies, create inside sales and pre-sales organizations and optimize product pricing and product bundling.
Previously, Sanjay worked in product development at Microsoft. Sanjay was one of 15 top hires chosen for the prestigious Microsoft Fast-Track Select program, designed for employees who demonstrated significant contributions and growth potential in the company.
Sanjay holds an MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School. Sanjay graduated with a master of engineering and bachelor of science in electrical engineering and computer science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He is also involved in research in consumer behavior. He holds five issued U.S. patents in the areas of wireless and mobile technology.
