Today I am thrilled to announce our Series B investment in ZIRX, an on-demand valet company first launched in San Francisco in 2014. Since then, ZIRX has delivered a great product and a great user experience.
The company has also successfully launched in Seattle, Los Angeles and Washington D.C. With each expansion, the company has also offered additional value-added services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and factory maintenance.
The company set out with the vision to eliminate all of the hassles of owning and using a car. In their own words, “We wanted a problem that people around the world could relate to. We wanted to solve a problem that people felt every day. It’s a big problem that affects millions of people on a daily basis. It was a problem we saw and felt ourselves.”
As CEO and founder Sean Behr has stated, each location and market is different. So, Seattle isn’t anything like San Francisco, and L.A. isn’t anything like Seattle or San Francisco. And, you don’t know what’s up in Denver until you strategically launch in that market,”
This new round will help the company deliver on this vision as well as continue its strategic expansion into these new markets.
