Robert joined Norwest in 2022 to serve as a resource to founders for all things corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and capital markets. As a member of the Portfolio Services team, he provides advisory support for Norwest’s portfolio companies with the goal of optimizing outcomes.

Prior to joining Norwest, he worked as an investment banking associate and served in various corporate strategy, M&A, and investing roles at technology companies including ServiceNow, Uber, Salesforce, and most recently, PowerSchool (Vista Equity Partners), where he first joined seven years ago and supported the company’s growth through its 2021 IPO and beyond.

Robert brings over $40 billion in execution experience across investments, debt and equity capital markets, serial acquisition programs, and transformational bets. His background includes firsthand acquirer, target, sponsor, and advisory experience across the spectrum of company maturity levels.

Robert is a Northern California native and holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of California, Davis.

Manuel comes to Norwest Venture Partners with almost a decade of recruiting experience. As Senior Director of Talent, under the umbrella of Portfolio Services, Manuel works closely with growth equity and venture partners and portfolio companies.

Prior to joining Norwest, Manuel was a director at Daversa Partners where he worked closely with the Norwest team on executive searches for companies like Madison Reed, Imperfect Foods, Calm, Tempo, and Third Wave Automation.

Manuel holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in writing from the University of California, Merced.

Reanna joined Norwest in 2022 as the lead writer and editor for the firm’s editorial strategy and content programs. She got her start in journalism before transitioning into copywriting and B2B content marketing. In this role, she combines her passion for storytelling and creative strategy.

Prior to joining Norwest, Reanna was a writer and content strategist at Smartsheet where she led brand and sponsorship campaigns, most notably with the McLaren F1 team. Before that, she was a Sr. Copywriter at PitchBook, sharing the stories and perspectives of founders and investors through data.

Reanna holds a Bachelor of Journalism and a B.S. in Advertising from the University of Texas at Austin.

Renée joined Norwest in 2022 as an Operating Executive. As a member of the portfolio services team, she lends her 20+ years of B2B marketing experience to the portfolio, working shoulder-to-shoulder with company leaders to help them optimize and scale their revenue engines for growth.

Prior to joining Norwest, Renée was a senior vice president at Lucidworks where she set global strategy for brand, product marketing, demand gen, and sales development. Before Lucidworks, she was a practice area leader at Trellist, a marketing consultancy and agency. Starting her career in tech startups, Renée cultivated deep hands-on experience and strategic leadership in a range of marketing functions including marketing ops, demand gen, social, branding, and product marketing.

Renée holds a bachelor of arts double major in political science and history from the University of Massachusetts where she graduated with honors.

Max joined Norwest in 2022 as Associate General Counsel. In this role, he works closely with Norwest investment professionals, co-investors, board members, and portfolio company founders and CEOs on a wide variety of legal activities across Norwest’s global fund.

Prior to joining Norwest, Max worked at Specialized as Commercial Counsel where he focused on domestic and international strategic M&A, most notably involving an industry consolidation and direct to consumer initiative to acquire independent bike retailers around the world. Prior to Specialized, Max was an associate at the law firm of Weil, Gotshal & Manges practicing M&A with a focus on Private Equity transactions, SPACs and Growth Equity Investments.

Max received a J.D. from UC Berkeley School of Law. He also holds a Bachelor’s of Arts in Political Economy from UC Berkeley. Max is a member of the State Bar of California.

Lia joined Norwest in 2022 as Sr. Director of Events. In this role, she leads Norwest’s event strategy and creates new opportunities to strengthen our community.

Lia has a bevy of marketing, demand gen, and events experience. Most recently, she was VP of Marketing at Ripcord where she oversaw events, among other functions. Prior to that, she was at Demandbase and Frog Design.

Lia holds an MBA in business administration and management from the University at Albany, SUNY. She also holds a bachelor of arts in communication from the University of St. Thomas.

Krystina joined Norwest as an Executive Assistant in 2020 and transitioned to the marketing team in 2022. As part of the marketing team, she assists in various projects, including website updates, data management, event production and analytics.

Prior to Norwest, Krystina provided a high level of executive support at several venture firms. Her most recent role was at SoftBank Investment Advisors where she supported multiple partners and produced several events.

Krystina holds a bachelor of arts in communications from the University of California at San Diego.

Glen joined Norwest Venture Partners in 2022 as Senior Director of Editorial. In this role, he combines his journalism training with data-driven performance marketing principles to produce strategic, engaging content—in many forms—that speak directly to the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Prior to joining Norwest, Glen was Senior Director, Content Marketing at Vonage, where he led strategic content creation and operations.

Glen graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst with a B.A. in Journalism.

 

Brit comes to Norwest Venture Partners with seven years of global technology talent experience. As Director of Talent, under the umbrella of Portfolio Services, Brit works closely with Norwest’s enterprise venture and growth equity partners and portfolio companies.

Before Norwest, Brit was at executive search firm Egon Zehnder where she partnered closely with executive teams, CEOs, and Boards, ranging from VC & PE-backed start-ups to Fortune 50 corporations, on technology search work and leadership advisory projects. With expertise in product, cybersecurity, data and analytics, data science and AI/ML, she advised clients on recruiting and assessing technical leadership talent, as well developing and scaling up capabilities in emerging technologies.

Brit began her career at a boutique IT management consulting firm specializing in cybersecurity and data where she focused on scaling business operations of talent, culture, business development and marketing.

Brit holds a bachelor of arts degree in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia.

Stephanie joined Norwest in 2021 as Associate General Counsel. In this role, she works closely with Norwest investment professionals, co-investors, board members, and portfolio company founders and CEOs on a wide variety of legal activities across Norwest’s global fund.

Prior to joining Norwest, Stephanie was a corporate attorney at Cooley LLP, where her practice focused on private financings of all stages, capital markets transactions, and corporate governance matters. Earlier in her career, Stephanie managed leadership programs across Europe for the German Marshall Fund, a think tank and grantmaking institution.

Stephanie received a J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of Law. She also holds a master of arts in European Studies from the University of Maastricht and a bachelor of arts in Political Science from Davidson College. Stephanie is a member of the State Bar of California.
