Reanna joined Norwest in 2022 as the lead writer and editor for the firm’s editorial strategy and content programs. She got her start in journalism before transitioning into copywriting and B2B content marketing. In this role, she combines her passion for storytelling and creative strategy.

Prior to joining Norwest, Reanna was a writer and content strategist at Smartsheet where she led brand and sponsorship campaigns, most notably with the McLaren F1 team. Before that, she was a Sr. Copywriter at PitchBook, sharing the stories and perspectives of founders and investors through data.

Reanna holds a Bachelor of Journalism and a B.S. in Advertising from the University of Texas at Austin.

Lia joined Norwest in 2022 as Sr. Director of Events. In this role, she leads Norwest’s event strategy and creates new opportunities to strengthen our community.

Lia has a bevy of marketing, demand gen, and events experience. Most recently, she was VP of Marketing at Ripcord where she oversaw events, among other functions. Prior to that, she was at Demandbase and Frog Design.

Lia holds an MBA in business administration and management from the University at Albany, SUNY. She also holds a bachelor of arts in communication from the University of St. Thomas.

Krystina joined Norwest as an Executive Assistant in 2020 and transitioned to the marketing team in 2022. As part of the marketing team, she assists in various projects, including website updates, data management, event production and analytics.

Prior to Norwest, Krystina provided a high level of executive support at several venture firms. Her most recent role was at SoftBank Investment Advisors where she supported multiple partners and produced several events.

Krystina holds a bachelor of arts in communications from the University of California at San Diego.

Kate joined Norwest in 2015 and is focused on driving brand awareness and thought leadership for Norwest through strategic communications programs. She also provides PR counsel to the firm’s portfolio companies across consumer, enterprise, and healthcare sectors.

Prior to joining Norwest, Kate was an account manager at Grayling, a public relations firm in San Francisco, where she drove marketing communications initiatives for a variety of clients ranging from early-stage technology startups to Fortune 500 companies. She was primarily responsible for developing and executing integrated communications plans, crafting corporate and product messaging as well as managing media relations and thought leadership programs. Previously, she worked at Hill & Knowlton, a global public relations firm, where she provided account support for clients including HP, LinkedIn, Qualcomm, Yahoo!, SanDisk, BrightSource Energy, and Ford Motor Company.

Kate holds a bachelor of arts in communication studies, with a minor in public relations from the University of San Francisco. 

Laura joined Norwest in 2010 and leverages her 20+ years of experience in finance and venture capital as director of portfolio services, where she is focused on post-investment support for Norwest’s portfolio companies.

She contributes to the firm’s community-building efforts through the management of Norwest’s portfolio community groups and works closely with the portfolio services team on strategic initiatives and programs designed to help portfolio companies save time, lower costs, and accelerate growth. Laura manages the portfolio company onboarding process and connects portfolio companies with tools, benefits, and resources to help them scale.

Prior to Norwest, Laura was with Gold Hill Capital, an independent private equity firm providing debt and equity capital to rapid growth, venture-backed technology companies. Previously, she was with Lighthouse Capital Partners and SVB. Laura spent three years writing for Netflix in a freelance capacity.

Laura holds a bachelor of science in journalism from San Jose State University and a certificate of achievement in marketing management from De Anza College.
